Most of us are highly visual creatures. We see thousands of images every day from photographs in newspapers, to the framed family on our desk at work, to bill boards, back ends of buses, etc. ad infinitum. Without such imagery our lives would be staid and uninteresting with the constant quest for new exciting images never fulfilled.

My goal is to provide the images you need, whether they are portraits of your family and friends, those once in a lifetime wedding photographs you can never repeat, a higher standard of photograph for your business to use in marketing literature or simply some fine art to hang on your wall while waiting for friends to realise how good your tastes are.

I got hold of my first camera many years ago on my eighth birthday and have been hooked ever since. By steadily progressing through an improving series of camera systems until the early 90s when I ended up on the Canon EOS system, and have remained with it since, I built up knowledge in various areas of photography over the first decade or so.

When I eventually settled on the areas of most interest to me, I found myself working mostly with landscapes, historic architecture and aviation. Another decade on and I once again began to experiment in new areas, this time focusing largely on people and this is where I developed a love for working with new people and getting the best out of them, photographically, that I could.

I now firmly believe that everyone has the ability to look good in a photograph without exception. All it takes is careful composition and reasonable control of the available light. It is, however, possible that I am the sole exception to the rule, but I shall keep working away until I'm happy with a self-portrait or have died trying. I think I will try to avoid the dying part.
