There is a good chance that you have spent a considerable amount of time creating a home environment that reflects your personality and within which you feel safe and comfortable. Perhaps this extends to your garden or there is an outdoor area which you truly love being in. Regardless which come closest to your own truth, I will use one or more of these locations to capture and present lifestyle photographs of you, your family and friends that you will treasure.
You will have the option of traditionally posed portraits or more adventurous and contemporary settings. These will then be available to you in a wide range of formats including single and multi-photograph frames, canvas prints, curved frames, acrylic prints and photobooks. I am constantly looking for additional presentation methods and will bring any to your attention that I feel may suit your personal style.
Before you commit to a session I will meet with you to discuss the options and locations available. This will also allow you to view a printed copy of my portfolio which is a much higher quality than the relatively low resolution images a website allows. There are two options available for you to choose from: a £65 session only fee or a £200 session fee which includes a DVD with the high resolution photographs and the right to use them in any way you choose. The latter option benefits from a free digital photo frame preloaded with the best images from your session and substantially reduced pricing on all photographs you order.
On the day of the session, I will arrive at either your home or agreed location as close to the stated time as possible, allowing for unexpected traffic conditions. As I will be carrying a reasonable amount of equipment, please allow a corner of an easily accessible main room to be used as a storage and staging area. Your portrait session will not have a fixed duration nor will I have arranged any meetings within a few hours of my estimated completion time as this will ensure a relaxed and leisurely atmosphere.
Once present I will usually have an idea of some photograph options from my first visit, but will be actively looking for additional possibilities. Please do not hesitate to tell me of any thoughts you have had on locations or poses! I will usually make good use of your garden or nearby outdoor location as well as your home, as this will increase the range of photographs available for you to choose from.
When the session is complete I will quickly pack away my equipment and depart.
Typically within a week or two of the session, I will provide proofs in order for you to select and identify which photographs you wish to order. Once you have your selection, it is time to decide how you would like each prepared and finally to complete an order form. I will be available to advise on which options may suit a particular photograph if desired.
Once I have received your completed order with payment, you should expect to receive your photographs within two to three weeks. I will normally deliver these in person at a time that suits.
